I share my experience running goats and cows for vegetation management. Participants will leave with a solid foundation in the principles of using livestock for vegetation control, including:
- Understanding what they eat and how they choose forages,
- Selecting treatment locations,
- Controlling animals on site with fencing,
- Developing contracts, and
- Coordinating goat treatments with other vegetation management tools.
