Using Goats for Weed and Fire Control
You'll leave with:
• a solid foundation in the how's and where's of using goats to control weeds and fire.
• tools for estimating costs and developing contracts
• an instructor-reviewed plan for using goats to meet your vegetation management goals.

Services
If you're ready to start on your own pilot project I can help you get started. Together we'll select and train your animals and make sure they're working on your target plants in pasture. Invite your neighbors to learn with you and split the cost!
To reduce your costs and my travel time, we'll use phone consultations, webmail and digital photos to select your animals, your training facilities, and to get started with the first part of the training: getting animals used to trying lots of new foods. When your animals seem ready to start eating weeds, I'll arrive for a 5 - 7 day visit. We'll do the trickiest parts together: feeding the cows their first weeds and making sure they continue to eat them in pasture.
